URGENT: TEXTBOOK RETURNS Students/Parents: There were many textbooks that were not returned to the school last year and we’re asking they be returned as soon as possible please; it is a great expense to have to replace these books. Please be advised: invoices will be issued for textbooks that were assigned to students that are not returned.

Use Your Parent Voice!

DPAC has created parent and student surveys to help shape the course selection, programs, and activities of the new single secondary school being launched September 2015. So far this is what parents are saying:

Academic courses, good sports programs, and Digital Technology are of the highest importance at the new school.

Sciences are the most important academic courses to parents, Electrical and Auto Mechanics are the most popular trades parents would like to see, Drama and Band are the most common arts choices.

Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball are the popular sports choices so far and parents have identified English Composition and Calculus as most desirable AP (Advanced Placement) courses they would like to see offered.

If we haven't heard from you, now is the time! Speak up and help build a Mission Secondary School our whole community will be proud of.

The MSS Newsletter will no longer be distributed to the students to take home but it is available online by clicking here.

The newsletter is available each month on the last Thursday of the month. Please check often to keep up to date with the happenings around MSS.

Mission Secondary School has much to offer our students, parents and the entire school community. We are proud of our outstanding academic results as well as our wide array of extra and co-curricular activities. Students must be involved in their education. Parents will need to continue to support their child through the next five years. We know that working together will make a huge difference in your child's education.

To all students, we ask that you seek to achieve your full potential. Ask questions, challenge both yourself and those around you and accept only the best in all aspects of your education. The opportunities at MSS are endless, be sure to take advantage of them by getting involved.
