Grade 12 Assessment

​There is an April session for GRADE 12's ONLY. This will include both first and second semester students. As per the schedule, those who need to write a grade 10 level assessment (Num or Lit), will have the opportunity to do so on Wednesday. (see full schedule/dates below). Students who require supports, or a separate setting please email: Lani.vetter@mpsd.ca 

 

To set students up for success, encourage them to view the introductory videos, attempt a sample assessment, review scoring rubrics, and look at examples of student responses. These resources can be found on the webpage of each assessment:

Exam results are available online approximately four weeks after you write your exam

Students who are more than 30 minutes late, may not write the assessment.

 

Students are encouraged to bring identification. Assessment administration staff must check the acceptable ID of all students not known to them.  Students to confirm they are logged in under the correct PEN and name. Students must leave any items not specifically authorized, in a designated area. Unauthorized items include notes, smartwatches, cell phones and any other electronic devices. Invigilators may hand out scrap paper, but all pages must be collected and shredded at the end of the session.

 

All assessments will be written in the Cafeteria. The cafeteria will be closed for these days. 

 

Monday, April 25th - Literacy 12

8:30am - 11:30am (A - F)

12:00pm - 3:00pm (G - L)

 

Tuesday, April 26th - Literacy 12 

8:30am - 11:30am (M - S)
12:00pm - 3:00pm (T - Z)

 

Wednesday, April 27th - Numeracy/Literacy 10 Exam (ONLY grade 12's who missed)

8:30am - 11:30am Grade 12's A-Z 

*there will be a small number of students who need to write both, they will stay for a second sitting from 12-3pm.
